I am not totally against merging with the Pac-10 but it will suck for school travel budgets and fan travel for away games.  The SEC has also shown interest, but I would have to say although the SEC is an awesome Football and Baseball conference they are not exactly academic powerhouses.

Another option would be to draw a few teams into the Big 12. But who? TCU is awesome, but they do not have the attendance necessary to be in a power conference.  That leaves Rice, SMU, etc but they are in the same boat. So sadly, I find it inevitable that the Big 12 will disband and the Aggies will have to adapt once again to a new conference.

The next few days should reveal the fate of the rest of the Big 12 dominoes and how they effect others (Kansas, Baylor, Kansas St.) as they fall.

SEC wants some of us, PAC 10 just invited Colorado.

“It’s all about money”. I understand that, but I can’t believe either one of those conferences have THAT much more money than the Big 12 considering the schools.

Here’s why I love the Big 12:

• We’re all good (minus Colorado)
• We can all drive to almost all of our away games
• They all have awesome tailgates (Baylor needs to step it up)
• I’ve never felt super unwelcome at visiting campuses (All except Tech. What a horrible place).

DAMMIT I love Big 12 fans. We all take this shit WAY too seriously.

And as I said earlier it’s not just football. The Big 12 puts up a solid showing in every single sport (minus those communist games they play in the North East with broomsticks and voodoo dolls). We have golf champions, track champions, tennis, baseball softball…. it goes on and on.

The rumor with the PAC 10 invites is that in addition to Colorado; Texas, Texas A&M, OU, OSU, and Tech will also get invites. Are y’all trying to become like the Big 10 now? What do these numbers even mean at this point? (Will give you props on that cleaver logo, Big 10, but your name is still stupid.)

HELL! All you’re doing is bringing the Big 12 to the PAC 10!! You’re just going to become the “Big PAC”. Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of going to a conference with more money if you bring everyone from your old conference with you?

Let the PAC have CU, fine with me. I have no beef against them, I love Colorado the state, but if they wanna go that’s alright, I understand. They probably heard Oregon has killer weed.  Take Tech too though please; they’re probably closer to Arizona than any of us anyways. Let’s pull in LSU, their fans are hilarious and it’s a hop skip and a jump from NOLA. Maybe Florida too. or TCU, I love some horny toads. Somewhere nice and warm I actually want to visit. I have no desire to ever go to California unless a huge chasm opens up between me and Vegas and the only way to get there by traveling around the world and through Cali.

If we are going to screw up everything right now lets take the time to screw it up right:

Make 4 16-team conferences. 8 in each division (so 7 games) and rotating playing 2 of the other teams in your conference. Each conference has a championship, and the 4 conf champions play in a +1 playoff format for the national championship. then you still keep all your bowls and everything.

I don’t know what will happen. Nor will I ever understand it. The only thing I know for sure and for certain is this:

Colorado is expected to announce as early as today (Thursday) that the school is leaving to join the Pac-10.

Nebraska is also expected to announce it’s move to the Big-10. (Really Nebraska? Really? )

A Big 12 football coach, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, told ESPN.com’s Mark Schlabach on Wednesday night that if Nebraska left the Big 12 the conference would dissolve, according to his athletics director and university president. The coach said Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Colorado would join the Pac-10, leaving Baylor, Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri and Iowa State behind.

Think about this Nebraska. Look what you’re about to do. We can replace Colorado, not a big deal. But if y’all leave you’re killing the Big 12. I realize y’all want to be with your cousin loving relatives in the Mid West, but why leave something great like the Big 12 for the Big 10? If y’all go that makes the big 10, which has 11 schools, the Big 12. WHICH ALREADY EXISTS!!!!! You’re leaving an awesome Big 12 for a shitty Big 12!!!! WHY?

The Texas Governor, Rick Perry, is expected to meet with Texas, Baylor, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech coaches today (Thursday) do discuss ways the four schools can stay in the same conference if Nebraska leaves.

This is the last act of a desperate man. Baylor doesn’t want to get left behind. I’m sorry, but y’all suck. I have no problem leaving you behind. Tech’s too high or too worried about staying accredited to care right now. Which is fine. I’d LOVE to get rid of them. They’re happy with who ever will take them (just know you get whatever diseases come with them too).

So as we sit right now the Big 10 has 12 teams and the Big 12 has 10 teams. This is ludicrous.

I was watching a show on Spike the other night called Manswers.  This show answered questions that asshole guys came up with (i.e. how much does a midget prostitute charge?).  Anyways, one of the segments talked about a multi-million dollar study that had concluded that chickens have the same taste in women as men do.  Are you fucking kidding me?  There are still people dying of hunger, cancer, aids, and God knows what else, and we are spending millions of dollars to find out a chicken wants to dick-down the same girl as me?  Come on guys…

I mean I know there is tons of money wasted every year on useless studies, but this has to be one of the worst I’ve heard in a while.  The American government is spending 20 billion dollars a year on the war on drugs, and that sure as hell is getting nowhere.  Then we have some of the most brilliant minds in science trying to figure out how to make an 83-year-old man have a four-hour erection without having a heart attack.  All the while there are people dying of hunger and disease. I mean come on people, let America smoke weed, stop having sex when mother nature deems it necessary, and let’s put some of that money into some causes that are worth while.  There is no reason that people should starve to death.  I know cancer and AIDS are throwing us for a loop, but if we stopped with the boner pill research and useless ass stuff I see on Manswers I think we could feed the children of the world.  I know it’s not that simple, but I had to get it off of my chest.

Now I am allowed by the nature of commerce to make these decisions based on whatever aspect I deem relevant at the time. Sometimes I have the time and patience to look for a better quality or a better price on a product, and sometimes I am looking for the product ASAP and will sacrifice quality or even pay a premium for the speed of service. It is amazing that in the world of free market economy that we could even take all of the inputs and make a decision to spend our hard earned cash.

So, the other day I finished the book I was reading (yes, I read), and I needed another book before my next bowel movement hit me (don’t even begin to judge, because if you don’t read while you’re on the

throne, you’re just wasting time). Now, normally I buy books online because you can get them used for pennies on the dollar.  Used books are awesome, because just because someone else has already read the book doesn’t mean the story has changed.  Also, I like hard cover books so that I can save them and put them on my bookshelf so that later in life I can remind myself that I’m not completely mentally incompetent.

Now that I’ve put in a few lines to boost my mental self-steam, I’ll get back to the problem at hand.  So I

needed to get a book ASAP before my next trip to one of my favorite rooms.  Given that I have a slight touch of IBS, this problem had to be resolved in a hurry.  So where does one go to purchase a book when time is of the essence?  I chose the neighborhood friendly Barnes & Nobles.  I think that everyone has been to one of these places.  They are monstrous and look to contain every book in the continental congress.

So, I go into this store looking for a very popular book, and I began my search through the endless shelves of meaningless self-help books and “Chicken Soup for the whatever you can think of.”  After a little while of searching, I go up to one of the workers and asked if they could be of any assistance.  Another thing, I think that everyone who works at Barnes & Noble is either 150 years old or has the mental capacity of a 9 year old.  Anyway, I digress.  So after a few minutes of my little helper trying to figure out their in-house search engine, the kind old lady told me that they didn’t have it in stock, but she could order it online for me and I could come pick it up in a few days.  Are you fucking kidding me?  Now why the hell would I pay full price for something I could get at a steep discount and wait a few days?  Especially when I would have to wait a few days and then go back to the damn store to pick it up.  I mean seriously, I know how to navigate a website and order the damn book myself!  Then, amazingly, the book will be dropped off on my doorstep, and I don’t have to even leave my house! 

Man, fuck that place!!!  I will never step foot into a Barnes & Noble again.  Why the hell would I give up a price cut and the convenience of not leaving my house to pay extra and have to make numerous trips to strip mall hell!

On a scale from 1-10, I would give Barnes & Noble a 6.4…in other words…I wouldn’t even lift my foot off your head to stop you from drowning in a stream!

ok, little rant. Fuck the bitch that works at 7 Eleven across from my office. She is a dumb bitch and I hope she keels over sucking down a cherry coke slurpy tomorrow.

On another note. Tiger’s version of Gatorade is awful. Especially the green one. Absolutely terrible.

I am not even kidding. So of course I went on to quote the theatrical great quotes from the movie (cry me a river you fat fucking baby, we was just kids mox, miss davis.. you go to the prom wit me?) and the office erupted in laughter. There are only 11 people that work at my company, but I thought it would be greatly appreciated that not all people in this world have lost touch with the classic greats Hollywood has produced. 

I can only wish that one day all towns will revert back into Varsity Blues themes, and I will be half as cool as Tweeter, with a friend named Billy Bob, who has a pet pig named Bacon, that he thinks is a dog.
